The South Hams area of Devon is a magical place where childhood memories of beaches, country lanes and endless sunny days come flooding back.  

Perfect sandy coves, long stretches of shoreline backed by nature reserves and views which take your breath away. 

Tiny villages with pastel coloured cottages, interesting towns including Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe, with its tiny side streets which all lead to the waters edge.  From historical houses to coastal walks, beach combing to canoeing or simply drinking in the views – each day has endless possibilities and definitely not enough hours!  

The South Hams has miles of country lanes lined with ancient hedgerows, wooded river valleys and breathtaking open moor land – the landscape and climate is unique, the beauty of the area outstanding.

And the food culture?  A mix of fine dining in award winning restaurants, relaxed bistro food and, of course, superb Devon teas – one theme is evident throughout cafes, restaurants, bistros and even fish and chip shops - food caught, grown or produced in the South Hams is served with immense pride and skill.
