Candlelit Dartmouth 2011 will take place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December. Note that, due to revised planning, the event is not currently scheduled to continue into Sunday 4th December as stated in the "Discover Dartmouth" brochure.

We're making some changes to this year's event. Santa will still be arriving by boat on Friday but the lantern procession is moving to Saturday.

Friday: Santa arrives by boat, carol singing with the Dartmouth Town Band, food market from 4pm.

Saturday: Christmas craft/gift stalls and workshops, entertainers, Christmas shopping, lantern procession.

Cooking School

At Manna from Devon they make bread as it should be made; with first class ingredients, lots of time and heaps of respect and if you join one of the breadmaking classes you'll get to grips (literally!) with the whole process of making bread.

Run by David, a passionate bread maker, the classes are designed to give you the confidence and enthusiasm to regularly make your daily bread and to explore and experiment with the endless possibilities that an understanding of bread making offers.
